Adult Ministries
Welcome to Adult Ministries at Charity. Whether you are looking for an ongoing Bible study, a short-term discipleship class, an opportunity to make connections through life groups, interest groups, or hope groups, there is a place for everyone. Our purpose is to help people connect to God through His Word and by building Christ-honoring relationships with others. The result is that we together become the disciples that God has called us to be.

At their core, Life Groups are small Christian communities. We believe that evangelism and discipleship are most effective when they are interwoven into personal relationships. Life Groups provide the environment where these types of relationships are fostered. They are regular gatherings of 8 to 12 people that meet in individual’s homes. In the context of Life Groups, people come to know God more fully and to experience his presence in their lives through Christian community and fellowship. They provide an opportunity for intimacy, mutual sharing and support, practical love and service, spiritual growth, greater devotion to God and others, prayer, and to see real examples of how God is working in our midst. They are led by trained individuals from the congregation that are given ongoing support by church leaders.

Hope groups are ministries that provide just that - hope. In seasons of grief, loss, betrayal, and disappointment these ministries are here to encourage and support you.

A Stephen Minister will walk alongside you in difficult times. It's confidential and free.

In Matthew 22 Jesus tells the crowd, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
